chris la putt - a rather pessimistic music photographer in nyc and a firm believer in righteous indignation.
ruining your google search results for the best nyc-based music + concert + portrait + band photographer since 2007.

480 Pixels – An Exhibition of BrooklynVegan’s Music Photography, opens at 92YTribeca August 16 and showcases the work of over a dozen photographers who regularly contribute to BrooklynVegan.
And, of course, the best way to celebrate the opening of a BrooklynVegan music photography exhibit is with live music. Following the opening night reception in the gallery on August 16, BrooklynVegan favorites the Heliotropes, Hunters, and the Screaming Females perform live on 92YTribeca’s mainstage. Works by Marissa Paternoster, lead singer and guitarist for the Screaming Females, are also among those featured in the exhibit.
480 Pixels includes works by the following photographers:
Chris La Putt
Dana (distortion) Yavin
480 Pixels is free and open to the public from August 16 through September 6, 2012. Tickets to the opening night concert are available at http://www.92y.org/Tribeca/Event/BrooklynVegan.aspx
